鶹Ƶ's Innis College raises $30,000 to support students from Ukraine: Globe and Mail

A film screening at the University of Toronto raised $30,000 for Innis College's , .

The fund supports refugees whose education was disrupted by conflict or war, and who wish to continue their studies at 鶹Ƶ – with priority given to scholars from Ukraine.

In April, Innis College screened the Oscar-nominated documentary, Winter on Fire: Ukraine’s Fight for Freedom, and welcomed its director Evgeny Afineevsky for a question-and-answer session. 

“I was filled with gratitude and pride at seeing so many people gathered, in-person and virtually, in recognition and support of the Ukrainian student community,” student Yaryna Datsyuk told the Globe.
